🛡️ 1. Food Standards & FSSAI Compliance
Big Bite Biryani is an authentic homestyle cloud kitchen and catering service operated by Chef Snehal in Akurdi & Nigdi, Pimpri-Chinchwad (PCMC), Pune. We adhere to the food safety guidelines mandated under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (FSSAI).
All signature biryanis, sweets, and select curries are prepared using 100% Sajuk Tup (Pure Desi Cow Ghee) without artificial preservatives, commercial food colors, or synthetic tenderizers.
⚠️ 2. Food Allergen & Dietary Advisory
- If you or any of your event guests have a diagnosed food allergy, celiac disease, or specific dietary restrictions, you must notify Chef Snehal in writing prior to order confirmation.
- While we take utmost care, cross-contact in a commercial kitchen environment may occur. Customers consume food at their own discretion.
- Meat & Bone Notice: Authentic traditional Indian meat dishes (Bokad/Goat Mutton, Gavran Chicken, Pomfret, Surmai) are prepared using bone-in cuts for authentic depth of flavor. Customers are advised to exercise caution while chewing to avoid ingestion of small bone fragments or fish pins.
🕒 3. Freshness, Safe Storage & Shelf Life
Because our food contains zero artificial preservatives, it must be consumed fresh:
- Hot Food: Should be consumed within 2 to 3 hours of delivery or pickup handover.
- Leftover Storage: If not consumed immediately, food must be transferred into clean, airtight containers and refrigerated at or below 4°C within 2 hours of delivery.
- Reheating: Reheat thoroughly until piping hot before serving. Sweets containing milk (such as Basundi, Kheer, or Modak) must be kept refrigerated.
💳 4. Advance Payment & Strict Cancellation Policy
As a bulk catering kitchen, we procure fresh, high-grade ingredients (fresh Bokad goat meat, fresh prawns/fish, pure cow ghee, and farm-fresh vegetables) exclusively against confirmed reservations.
- Payment Confirmation: Orders are confirmed ONLY AFTER 100% FULL ADVANCE PAYMENT is received via UPI, Bank Transfer, or Cash. No catering slot is reserved on verbal confirmation alone.
- Cancellations 48+ Hours Prior: Subject to a 20% administrative procurement fee; the remaining 80% will be refunded or credited as a catering credit voucher valid for 90 days.
- Cancellations 24 to 48 Hours Prior: Eligible for a 50% refund or credit, as raw materials and marinades are procured in advance.
- Cancellations Under 24 Hours: Strictly NON-REFUNDABLE. Food preparation, slow dum marination, and ingredient allocations are already finalized.
- Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ): Certain offerings (Snack Boxes: Min 10 boxes; Meal Trays: Min 10 trays; Puranpoli Thalis: Min 10 thalis; Kilo Biryanis: Min 1 KG) must meet their stated MOQ.

- Estimated Transit Times: Delivery slots provided are good-faith estimates. Big Bite Biryani is not legally liable for transit delays caused by force majeure events, including heavy rainfall, severe traffic congestion, road diversions, strikes, or customer unavailability.
